Smart Thermostat Installation

Remotely schedule and control your home’s environmental controls from your PC or smartphone.  Ohmwork LLC will install and configure a Smart Thermostat in your compatible home.  For homes without a compatible central heating/air unit, i.e. one not equipped with a 24V “C” wire, a “C” wire will have to be run from the unit to the mounting location.

Remote Lighting and Outlet Control

With smart outlets, virtually anything you plug into your current wall sockets can now be controlled through your SmartPhone and PC at the click of a button. We will install and enroll a singular Z-Wave compatible outlet. This assumes that you already have a Z-Wave central hub installed.  If you do not have a Z-Wave hub, we can install one for you.  The Z-Wave hub unit (depending on the brand) is $99 and up.

Security Camera NVR System

Bolster your home’s physical security posture and detection capabilities with a multi-channel nightvision security camera system. Would you like to be notified by text message or email when someone comes to your front door?  You could have a picture or video of the mailman dropping off your package sent directly to your phone. You can also access these systems remotely from your smart phone, tablet, or PC to view live video of your home.

We install 4-16+ channel camera systems.  In most residential situations, we recommend installing power over Ethernet (PoE) HD camera systems coupled with an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). The cameras are powered by PoE from the network video recorder (NVR), and with the NVR plugged into the UPS, your camera system will continue to record to the NVR for hours after your home loses power.
